First Women in India to Own Harley Davidson


First Indian Women from Bangalore is the proud owner of Harley Davidson Iron 863 model costing around Rs.8 lakh on-road price. When Harley Davidson opened their showroom in Bangalore on February 2011, Indian women (Sheeja Mathews, HR pro in MNC) booked the bike and got delivered a few days back.
For Sheeja Mathews, racing is been a passion since Childhood and she ride bikes from the age 15. she has been riding her husband’s Yamaha Rajdoot 350 to office. Sheeja Says ” Due to heavy traffic in the city, I intend to take the Harley to office only once a week. I will mainly use it for long weekend cruise trips.”
Proud Owner of this iconic cult motorcycle, thus breaking the stereotype of only tattoo sporting muscular hunks riding the bike. The American bike maker started selling bikes in India last year, and offers a total of 15 models priced between Rs 5.5 lakh and Rs 38.66 lakh.
